DESIGNER & DESIGN ILLUSTRATOR – JOHN T. NELSON

John T. Nelson is a Designer and Design Illustrator at Sorensen Partners, working in collaboration with our internal design team to illustrate conceptual design and masterplanning concepts to clients. Most recently John worked with Sorensen Partners in our role as Architect subconsultant to Agency Landscape+Planning on the Framework Plan for Pawtucket Farm Wildlife Sanctuary for MassAudubon.

John is an accomplished artist with twenty-two years of experience as a technical illustrator, graphic designer, and conceptual sketch artist for civic, corporate, editorial, advertising and institutional clients. He excels in visual problem-solving by first listening to a client’s visual needs and then proposing relevant solutions either on his own or in group collaboration.  

John’s areas of expertise include drawing objects and environments that do not yet exist and simplifying complex and difficult concepts. Recent and current clients of John T. Nelson Illustration include IBM, GE, United Technologies Corporation, Xerox, Sorensen Partners | Architects + Planners, Inc. and Georgia Tech Library, Prodigy Works (Push Pop/Juicy Drop Brands, Oreo Cookies, Kimberly-Clark, Oasys Acuvue Lenses), Goodwill, Global Executive Group, and Sage Environmental Consulting.
