Abbott Lawrence Academy Classroom & Learning Commons – Lawrence, MA
Sorensen Partners provided concept and schematic design for the City of Lawrence and Lawrence Public Schools’ new Abbott Lawrence Academy.
The design of the classrooms is a magic glue that will bond the students to each other and to the program during their four years together. While located in a public school, the space will be modern and high-tech: an environment that is on-par with the finest private high schools in the region and the nation’s most updated college and university learning environments.
The classrooms will be an intimate community with beautiful views to the outdoors and direct access to all of the resources of the adjacent Learning Commons.
