Lawrence History Center Courtyard Improvements – Lawrence, MA
Sorensen Partners was Site and Landscape Designer for the Lawrence History Center (LHC) for an accessible entry to LHC’s main building and improvements to the function and aesthetics of the entry courtyard on the Lawrence, MA site. We provided concept design, construction documentation drawings, and construction administration services.
The site design improves safety and access to the building by making improvements to the courtyard parking area, designating a handicap parking space with corresponding signage, establishing planting beds, and installing a walkway leading to the rear of the building where the accessible lift is accessed.
The project was built in 2013 by Tompkins Landscape of North Andover, MA and was funded by a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from the City of Lawrence.
